Perform this task to edit the network topology.
Deploying VMs by using a VM template in the topology is the same as deploying VMs by using a VM template on the VM template list.
By default, vswitch0 belongs to a management network. To view the topology of vswitch0, change its network type to service network.
After you add a vSwitch or virtual firewall in the topology, they will be displayed on the vSwitch list or virtual firewall list, with a network type of service network.
On the top navigation bar, click Networks, and then select Network Topology from the navigation pane.
Select a cluster from the Cluster list in the upper right corner of the page if multiple clusters exist in the system.
Select an item, and then drag it to the edit area.
Edit the information as needed.
For a VM, click on the VM icon, and you can perform the following tasks:
To view VM information, click Details.
To access the VM console, click Console.
To start the VM, click Start.
To power off the VM, click Power Off.
For a VM template, drag the template icon to the edit area, and then deploy VMs by following the wizard. For more information about deploying VMs by using a VM template, see "Deploy VMs by using a VM template."
For a vSwitch, click on the vSwitch icon, click Edit, enter a name and VLAN ID, and then click OK.
For a physical interface, click on the icon, click Edit, enter a name, select a physical NIC, and then click OK.
For a virtual firewall, click on the icon, click Edit, enter a name, and then click OK.
Configure the physical interface, vSwitch name, and VLAN ID for physical interface and vSwitch connection.
Configure the VM NIC, vSwitch name, VLAN ID, and port profile.
Click OK.

VM-vSwitch connection:
vNIC: Virtual NIC on the VM to connect to the vSwitch.
vSwitch Name: Name of the vSwitch. This parameter cannot be edited.
VLAN ID: VLAN ID of the local port on the vSwitch connecting to the host protocol stack. This parameter cannot be edited.
