For a CIFS share to take effect, you must create a NAS group and assign NAS servers to the group.
Permissions include prohibited, full control, read/write, and read only, in descending priority order. If you assign different permissions to a user, the group to which that user belongs, and everyone, the permission of the highest priority takes effect.
On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Create.
Enter a share name, and then click Browse.
If a shared directory has been created, select the shared directory, configure the parameters as described in "Parameters," and then click OK.
If no shared directory has been created, a dialog box opens. Click OK to open the directory management page, create a shared directory, and then create the CIFS share again.
On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Edit in the Actions column for a CIFS share.
Set the parameters as described in "Parameters."
Click OK.
On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Delete in the Actions column for a CIFS share.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Permission in the Actions column for a CIFS share, or directly click a CIFS share name link.
Click Create.
Select an option from the User/User Group list.
If you select everyone, click Add, select a permission option, and click OK.
If you select the user or user group option, perform the following tasks:
Click Search, or enter part of the username or user group name in the name field and then click Search.
In the dialog box that opens, select a user or user group, and then click OK.
Select a permission option, and then click OK.

On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Permission in the Actions column for a CIFS share or click the name of a CIFS share.
Click Edit Permissions in the Actions column for a user or user group.
Select a permission option, and then click OK.
On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Permission in the Actions column for a CIFS share or click the name of a CIFS share.
Click Delete in the Actions column for a user or user group.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
To delete multiple users or user groups in bulk, select the users or user groups, and then click Delete on the top of the page.
On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Advanced in the Actions column for a CIFS share.
Edit the parameters as described in "Parameters."
Click OK.
On the top navigation bar, click Storage, and then select File Storage > NAS from the navigation pane.
Click the CIFS Shares tab.
Click Connection Details.
Share Name: Enter a name for the CIFS share.
Directory: Select a shared directory, which cannot be the root directory.
Permitted Client IP: Specify one or multiple clients that can access the CIFS share. To allow all clients to access the share, enter an asterisk (*).
Blocked Client IP: Specify one or multiple clients that cannot access the CIFS share.
User: Specify the user to be granted access permission.
User Group: Specify the user group to be granted access permission.
everyone: Allow all users to access the CIFS share.
Permission: Specify a permission option for the user or user group. Available options include:
Full Control—Permit the user to perform all operations, including read, write, delete, rename, and file NTACL change.
Read/Write—Permit the user to perform read, write, delete, and rename operations but does not permit the user to change the file NTACL.
Read Only—Permit the user to read files.
Prohibited—Prohibit the user from accessing the CIFS share.
Hide Unreadable: Select whether a user can view files and directories on which the user does not have operation permission. Available options include:
On—A user cannot view files and directories on which the user does not have operation permission.
