The anti-virus configuration protects VMs from virus attacks. Perform this task to configure, upload, and install anti-virus software.
Do not close the window or browser during the uploading process.
The uploaded anti-virus package must be a .tar.gz file, and the file must be an installation program after decompression. Hosts will automatically install the uploaded anti-virus package.
Before enabling the anti-virus service for a VM, shut down the VM. The anti-virus service takes effect after the VM starts again.
From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.
Click the Anti-Virus tab.
Select the anti-virus vendor and a CVK type.
Enter the directory for saving the anti-virus software package. Alternatively, click the icon. In the dialog box that opens, select the directory for saving the anti-virus software package, and click OK.
Click Upload, select an anti-virus package, and then click Open to upload the package. After the anti-virus package is uploaded successfully, the host will automatically install the anti-virus patches.
Click Check to examine the anti-virus patch installation result. You can click Install in the Actions column to manually install it. Alternatively, you can click the Install button at the bottom of the page to bulk install the patches.
To bulk uninstall anti-virus patches, click Uninstall.
Vendor: Select an anti-virus software vendor, which can be AsiaInfo and Qi An Xin.
CVK Type: AsiaInfo supports protecting ARM_CentOS hosts and x86_CentOS hosts. QI-ANXIN supports protecting x86_CentOS hosts.
Directory: Enter the directory for saving the anti-virus package. As a best practice, save the package to the /vms directory or its subdirectories. If not, you must re-upload the anti-virus package after a primary/backup switchover.
