Restrictions and guidelines

For a user to create user-defined directories on a Samba shared server, make sure the default homes field is reserved in the smb.conf file of the Samba shared server.

Procedure

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.

  2. Click the Third-Party System Collaboration tab.

  3. Click the icon next to vGPU Parameters, configure the parameters as described in "vGPU parameters," and click Save. The ARM architecture does not support vGPU in the current software version.

  4. Click the icon next to DNS Proxy Parameters, configure the parameters as described in "DNS proxy parameters," and click Save.

  5. Click the icon next to Samba Shared Server Parameters, configure the parameters as described in "Samba server parameters," and click Save.

  6. Click the icon next to VNC Proxy Parameters, configure the parameters as described in "VNC proxy server parameters," and click Save.

  7. Click the icon next to Syslog Server, configure the parameters as described in "Syslog server," and then click Save.

  8. Click the icon next to Monitor Platform Parameters, configure the parameters as described in "Monitor platform parameters," and then click Save.

  9. Click the icon next to Location Parameter, configure the parameters as described in "Location parameters," and then click Save.
