You can access the physical host desktop pool details page by using one of the following methods:
From the left navigation pane, select Desktops. Click the name of a desktop pool in the desktop pool list. This method is used in the following deployment procedure.
From the left navigation pane, select Desktops > Desktop pool group name > Desktop pool name in the desktop pool tree.
From the left navigation pane, select Desktops > Desktop pool group name. Click the name of a desktop pool in the desktop pool list.
From the left navigation pane, select Desktops.
Click the name of the target physical host desktop pool in the desktop pool list.
Click the Physical Host List tab.
Click Select Physical Hosts on top of the physical host list.
Select Rename Physical Host as needed. This option is selected by default. With this feature configured, aliases of the physical hosts that join a desktop pool will be renamed in the format of the desktop pool name and a serial number. For example, if the desktop pool name is Pc, physical hosts will be renamed Pc-001, Pc-002, and so forth.
| If you do not rename aliases of the physical hosts that join a desktop pool, the following issues might occur:

Select physical hosts, and then click OK.
To automatically assign idle physical hosts to users, add their usernames or OUs to the preauthorization list.
To preauthorize users/OUs to use a desktop pool:
From the left navigation pane, select Desktops.
Click the name of the target physical host desktop pool in the desktop pool list.
Click Preauthorize on top of the page.
To add users to the preauthorization list:
Click Select Users. Select one or multiple users, and then click OK.
To add user groups to the preauthorization list:
Click Select User Groups. Select one or multiple user groups, and then click OK.
To add OUs for domain users to the preauthorization list:
Click Select OU. Select one or multiple OUs, and then click OK.
To remove preauthorized objects from the preauthorization list:
Select one or multiple preauthorized objects, and then click Delete Authorizations. In the dialog box that opens, click OK. The users will be unable to access any physical hosts in the desktop pool.
To recover authorizations:
Click Recover Authorizations. Select deleted preauthorized objects, and then click OK.
You can configure and delete user authorizations only for static physical host desktop pools.
From the left navigation pane, select Desktops.
Click the name of the target physical host desktop pool in the desktop pool list.
Click the Physical Host List tab.
Perform the following tasks:
To authorize a user to use a physical host:
Click in the Authorized User Login Name column for a physical host. In the dialog box that opens, select a user, and then click OK.
To delete a user authorization:
Click in the Authorized User Login Name column for a physical host. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
