Create shared storage

Restrictions and guidelines

Before you create shared file system storage, make sure the target iSCSI SAN or FC SAN is readable, writable, and reachable. If you fail to do so, shared storage configuration might fail, or the shared storage might be unavailable. Please set the size of shared storage appropriately as needed.

Procedure

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > Failover System Management > Shared Storage.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Configure the parameters as described in "Parameters."

  4. Click OK.

Parameters

Delete shared storage

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > Failover System Management > Shared Storage.

  2. Click Delete for a shared storage entry.

  3. Click OK.

View information about shared storage

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > Failover System Management > Shared Storage.

  2. Click More for a shared storage entry, and then select Details.

Enable shared storage

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > Failover System Management > Shared Storage.

  2. Click More for a shared storage entry, and then select Enable.

  3. Click OK.

Suspend shared storage

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > Failover System Management > Shared Storage.

  2. Click More for a shared storage entry, and then select Suspend.

  3. Click OK.
