Perform this task to view or delete VIP desktop alarms, or configure VIP desktop policies.
From the navigation pane, select System > Alarms > VIP Desktop Alarms.
Enter the filter criteria and click the search icon.
Desktop Name: Name of the VIP desktop.
Authorized User: User authorized to use the VIP desktop.
Generated At: Time when the VIP desktop alarm is generated.
Email Notifications: Select whether to send VIP desktop alarms to the specified mailbox for notification.
Event Type: VIP desktop alarm type.
State: VIP desktop alarm state.
Cleared At: Time when the VIP desktop alarm is cleared.
From the navigation pane, select System > Alarms > VIP Desktop Alarms.
Perform either of the following tasks:
To delete multiple alarms, select alarms and then click Delete above the VIP desktop alarm list.
To delete a single alarm, click Delete in the Actions column for the target alarm.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
Perform this task to configure VIP desktop policies, including the resource allocation policy, real-time monitoring policy, and alarm email notification policy.
After the real-time monitoring policy is enabled, VIP desktop alarms will be generated when the VIP desktops meet the alarm conditions specified in the policy.
After the alarm email notification policy is enabled, VIP desktop alarms will be sent to the specified mailboxes.
Configure VIP desktop policies when you need to monitor VIP desktop resource usages and alarms in real time.
Promote common desktops to be VIP desktops. For more information, see Manage a VDI desktop pool.
Configure VIP desktop policies, including the resource allocation policy, real-time monitoring policy, and alarm email notification policy.
View VIP desktop alarms on the VIP Desktop Alarms page or in the specified mailbox.
To send VIP desktop alarms to the specified mailbox, set the sender email address and the destination email address. For more information, see "Configure the mail server" and "Email notifications."
From the navigation pane, select System > Alarms > VIP Desktop Alarms.
Click the VIP Desktop Policies tab.
Click Edit at the bottom of the Real-Time Monitoring Policy area, configure the parameter settings, and then click Save.
Click Edit at the bottom of the Email area, enable or disable email notifications for VIP desktop alarms, and then click Save.
CPU Allocation Priority: CPU allocation priority for VIP desktops. The priority is High by default and cannot be edited. The high priority assures 100% of CPU resource reservation for VIP desktops.
Memory Allocation Priority: Memory allocation priority for VIP desktops. The priority is High by default and cannot be edited. The high priority assures 100% of CPU resource reservation for VIP desktops.
CPU Usage Exceeding 80%: If you enable this condition, the system will generate alarms when the CPU usage of VIP desktops exceeds 80%.
System Disk Usage Exceeding 80%: If you enable this condition, the system will generate alarms when the system disk usage of VIP desktops exceeds 80%.
Memory Usage Exceeding 80%: If you enable this condition, the system will generate alarms when the memory usage of VIP desktops exceeds 80%.
Desktop Shutdown: If you enable this condition, the system will generate alarms when VIP desktops shut down.
Desktop Status Monitoring: If you enable this condition, the system will generate alarms when the status of VIP desktops is abnormal.
