Perform this task to configure the syslog server. After configuration, the system sends operation log and alarm information to the syslog server.
Specify the real IP address of the management node on the syslog server. If a stateful failover system is deployed for UIS, specify the real IP addresses of the primary and backup management nodes. This configuration ensures that the syslog server can obtain logs after a primary/backup switchover.
On the top navigation bar, click System, and then select Parameters > Syslog Server from the navigation pane.
Configure the syslog server parameters as described in "Parameters."
Click Save.
Server IP: Enter the IP address of the syslog server. If you enter multiple IP addresses, use semicolons to separate the addresses. For example, 192.168.0.27;192.168.0.28.
Protocol: Select a protocol to send syslog messages. Options include UDP and TCP.
