WORM attribute modification takes effect only on new sub directories or files.
A newly created directory inherits the WORM attribute and settings of its parent directory by default.
The minimum retention period cannot be longer than the maximum retention period. The default retention period cannot be shorter than the minimum retention period or longer than the maximum retention period.
The default expiration time for files = Last editing time + autocommit timer + default retention period
Only the WORM attribute of an empty directory can be deleted.
Only user "admin" can delete the WORM attribute of a WORM root directory.
WORM records can be exported only after the WORM clock is configured.
The extended retention period takes effect only on locked and expired files.
Extending the retention period for files under a WORM root directory does not change the WORM attributes. Files added to the directory after the extension still use the original retention period settings.
The WORM clock is designed to prevent files becoming expired as a result of system time change.
