Execute recovery plans

UIS Manager provides the following recovery plan execution options:

Restrictions and guidelines

Test a recovery plan

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans from the left navigation pane.

  1. Click the Start Testing icon  for a recovery plan.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, select an execution mode, and then click OK.

  1. To view test details, click the Recovery Tasks tab and click the execution time link for the recover task.

  1. To stop the test after it succeeds, click Stop Testing on the recovery plan summary page.

Execute scheduled recovery

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans > recovery plan name from the left navigation pane.

  1. Click Scheduled Recovery.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, select an execution mode, and then click OK. For more information about the execution mode, see "Parameters."

Execute scheduled recovery in bulk

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans from the left navigation pane.

  1. Select the target recovery plans, click Batch Actions, and then select Scheduled Recovery.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.

Execute failure recovery

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans > recovery plan name from the left navigation pane.

  1. Click Failure Recovery.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, select an execution mode, and then click OK. For more information about the execution mode, see "Parameters."

Execute failure recovery in bulk

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans from the left navigation pane.

  1. Select the target recovery plans, click Batch Actions, and then select Failure Recovery.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.

Execute reverse recovery

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans > recovery plan name from the left navigation pane.

  1. Click Reverse Recovery.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, select an execution mode, and then click OK. For more information about the execution mode, see "Parameters."

Clear backup data

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans > recovery plan name from the left navigation pane.

  1. Click Clear Backup Data.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.

Execute reverse recovery in bulk

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select SRM > Recovery Plans from the left navigation pane.

  1. Select the target recovery plans, click Batch Actions, and then select Reverse Recovery.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
