Add a member cluster

After you add member clusters to the main cluster instance, the main cluster instance deploys applications to the member clusters.

To add a member cluster:

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Multi-Cloud Container Management from the Container Service menu.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Resource Management > Clusters.

  1. Select a main cluster instance on the top of the page.

  1. Click Add Cluster.

  1. Configure the parameters as described in "Parameters."

  1. Click OK.

Cloud Provider

Select the cloud service provider of the cluster.

Connection Address

Configure the address that the cluster uses to connect to the main cluster instance. Click Verify Connectivity to verify whether the cluster and the main cluster instance are reachable to each other. You can view the connection address of the cluster in the cluster's KubeConfig file.

KubeConfig

Click Upload to upload a KubeConfig file.

Context

Select a context. You must first upload a KubeConfig file to obtain contexts.

Cluster Name

Specify a name for the cluster. The name must be globally unique.
