Viewing resource usage statistics by accessing CAS through HTTPS requires using specific CAS versions. For more information, see Key Features and Software Platforms Compatibility Matrix. |
To obtain resource usage statistics for virtualization:
On the top navigation bar, click Resources.
From the left navigation page, select Virtualization.
The Dashboard page opens displaying the resource usage statistics for virtualization.
Hosts
Total: Total number of physical servers incorporated into the system from virtualization platforms.
Normal: Number of physical servers that are operating correctly.
Maintain: Number of physical servers that have been placed in maintenance mode.
Abnormal: Number of physical servers that are operating incorrectly.
Cloud Hosts
Total: Total number of cloud hosts in the system.
Normal: Number of cloud hosts that are operating correctly.
Off: Number of cloud hosts that have been shut down.
Abnormal: Number of cloud hosts that are operating incorrectly.
CPU
Total CPU Cores: Total number of CPU cores provided by the physical servers in the system.
CPU Cores in Use: Total number of CPU cores being used by cloud hosts. If a cloud host is in off state, it does not use any CPU cores. The CPU usage rate of a CAS cloud host is equal to the number of CPU cores being used by the cloud host divided by the total number of CPU cores assigned to the cloud host.
The CPU usage rate of a VMware cloud host is equal to the amount of CPU frequency being used by the cloud host divided by the total amount of CPU frequency assigned to the cloud host.
CPU Overcommit: The percentage of CPU cores being used by the cloud hosts in the CPU cores on all physical servers.
Memory
Total: Total amount of memory provided by the physical servers in the system.
In Use: Total amount of memory being used by the cloud hosts. If a cloud host is in off state, the amount of memory used by it is 0. The memory usage rate of a CAS cloud host is equal to the amount of memory being used by the cloud host divided by the total amount of memory assigned to the cloud host.
