Discover a bare metal node

The bare metal server will be restarted after you start discovering a bare metal node. Make sure no imported services on the server are affected.

 

1. On the top navigation bar, click Resources.

2. From the left navigation pane, select Bare Metal.

3. Select a bare metal node, click Actions on the top of the node list, and then select Start Detection. The node must be in manageable state.

4. In the dialog box that opens, click OK. If the node is detected successfully, the node state will become manageable, and the model, CPU, memory, and disk information for the node will be displayed on the list. If the node fails to be detected, the node state will change to detection failed.
