Create a network

Restrictions and guidelines

• In a multitenant network, you can configure only service networks. In a flat network, you can configure only one management network and multiple service networks for each bare metal node.

• A management network name must start with ironicMagNet, and must be a shared network. A service network name cannot start with ironicMagNet, and cannot be a shared network.

Procedure

1. On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Classic Networks or VPCs from the Network menu.

2. On the Classic Networks page, click Create. To create a subnet for a network, select Create Subnet.

3. If you select VPCs from the Network menu, select Private Networks from the left navigation pane, and then click Create.
