To remove an elastic IP address from the elastic IP address list, release the elastic IP address. That elastic IP address will be released back to its subnet. To save resources, release unused elastic IP addresses.
You can release only unassigned elastic IPs. To release an elastic IP that has been assigned to a resource instance, reclaim the elastic IP first. For more information about reclaiming elastic IPs, see "Reclaim an elastic IP address." |

On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Elastic IPs from the Network menu.

You can reclaim an elastic IP address from one resource and assign it to another resource. For example, you can reclaim an elastic IP address from a failed cloud host and assign it to a backup cloud host to prevent the failure from interrupting communication with the public network. To assign an elastic IP address to a resource, see "Assign an existing elastic IP address to a resource."

In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
Perform this task to reset the charge record of an elastic IP and retrigger the billing policy.
You can reset the charge record for a single elastic IP or multiple elastic IPs in bulk. When you reset the charge record of an elastic IP, you can set the reset time point. The system clears the charge record generated before the reset time point, and then starts charging for the elastic IP at the reset time point. When you reset the charge record for multiple elastic IPs in bulk, you cannot set the reset time point and the system will start charging for those elastic IPs at the current time point.
· Only system administrators can reset elastic IP charge. · This task is available only for those elastic IPs that have a charge record. · When you reset the charge record of a single elastic IP, the reset time cannot be earlier than the generation time of the earliest charge record. |
