templates/_helpers.tpl file

Helm will run the files in the templates directory when installing an installation package. In this example, the _helplers.tpl file defines the logic for determining and setting variable values.

You can also use a .yaml file. A .tpl file is also in YAML format, and is compiled using the Golang programming language.
