Access a Linux cloud hosts

Access Linux cloud hosts by using the SSH password

  1. Open an SSH tool, enter the IP address in the format of ssh IP_address, and then press Enter.

  1. Enter the username. The default username is root.

  1. Select the password authentication method and enter the password.

Access Linux cloud hosts by using the SSH key

  1. Open an SSH tool, enter the IP address in the format of ssh IP_address, and then press Enter.

  1. Enter the username. The default username is root.

  1. Select the public key authentication method, browse to the key file, and enter the password.

Access Linux cloud hosts through the console

To use the console to access the cloud hosts on CAS CVM with the HTTPS login mode enabled, make sure VNC proxy for the cloud hosts is disabled on CAS CVM.

 

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Cloud Hosts from the Compute menu.

  1. Click Console for the target cloud host.

  1. Enter the password to access the operating system of the cloud host.
