When scheduled backup data is stored on the local server (locally stored on the node), the maximum storage size allowed is limited by the total capacity (10 GB) and the maximum replicas together. The total capacity is the total size of saved backup files and the current backup file. · When the total capacity of the backup files does not exceed 10 GB, but the number of files exceeds the maximum replicas, the server will delete the oldest backup files. · When the total capacity of the backup files exceeds 10 GB, but the number of files does not exceed the maximum replicas, the backup will fail. You need to manually delete unnecessary backup files and then back up again. When the scheduled backup data is stored on a remote server, the system will not check the capacity of the remote server. Insufficient capacity will cause backup failure. |
On the top navigation bar, click System.
From the left navigation pane, select System Maintenance > System Tools.

Select a backup destination. |
|
Local Server |
Max. Replicas |
Set the maximum number of replicas that the local server can save. If this limit is exceeded, the local server deletes the earliest backup file. |
Backup Frequency/Back Up At |
Set the backup frequency and when backup is performed. |
|
Remote Server |
Protocol |
Select FTP for data transmission. |
Destination Server Address |
Enter the IP address of a remote server. |
|
Destination Server Port |
Enter the port number of a remote server. |
|
Username Password |
Enter the username and password of a remote server. |
|
Backup Frequency/Back Up At |
Set the backup frequency and when backup is performed. |
If you back up data on the local server, the default storage directory is directory /opt/local_storage/os-sysbackup of the node where container OS-SYSBACKUP is currently located. |
