Configure gateway logs

You can select a specific log level to obtain and view gateway logs of this level in the back end. The log levels of the API gateway are defined by Kong, including debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, aler, and emerg. For more information about the log levels, go to the Kong official website.

Editing gateway log settings will cause the gateway to restart and be unavailable temperately. Make sure you are aware of the impacts on the network.

 

To configure gateway logs:

  1. On the top navigation bar, click System.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System Maintenance > System Tools.

  1. Click Gateway Log Configuration.

  1. Select desired log levels and select I am fully aware of the impacts of this operation.

  1. Click OK.
