Upload an image

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Images from the Compute menu.

  1. On the Public or Private tab, click Create.

  1. Configure image parameters as described in Table-1.

Parameter

Description

Hypervisor

Select PowerVM.

Operating System Version

Select an operating system version. If no matching operating system version exists, specify an operating system version on the image type creation page.

Upload From

Select Local to upload an image file not larger than 5 GB.

Select FTP Server or SFTP Server to upload an image file larger than 5 GB.
