Configure gateways

Users on the public network can log in to the Workspace client to access virtual applications through a gateway. Perform this task to configure the gateways for public network users to log in.

Gateway configuration is only required for public network users who log in to the client using virtual applications through a gateway. Gateway configuration is not necessary for public network users who log in to the client using cloud desktops.

Create a gateway

Procedure

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.

  2. Click the Gateway tab.

  3. Click Create.

  4. In the dialog box that opens, configure the gateway settings as described in "Parameters," and specify the internal IP address as required.

  5. Click OK.

Parameters

Edit a gateway

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.

  2. Click the Gateway tab.

  3. Click Edit in the Actions column for a gateway to edit.

  4. Configure the gateway settings as described in "Create a gateway."

  5. Click OK.

Delete a gateway

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.

  2. Click the Gateway tab.

  3. Click Delete in the Actions column for a gateway to delete.

  4. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.

View gateway details

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.

  2. Click the Gateway tab.

  3. Click Details in the Actions column for a gateway to view detailed gateway settings.

Collect gateway logs

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.

  2. Click the Gateway tab.

  3. Click Collect Logs in the Actions column for a gateway.

  4. Click Collect Logs in the Actions column for a gateway address.

  5. Enter the root username and password of the gateway server, and then click OK.

View gateway alarms

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System > External Services.

  2. Click the Gateway tab.

  3. Click Gateway Alarms.
