Set a password policy to apply restrictions on Space Center administrator passwords to improve password security. Password policy settings include the minimum password length, password complexity, and password validity period.
A password policy takes effect on all administrators immediately after the password policy is configured.
Passwords of new administrators must comply with all the password policy settings. Passwords of existing administrators must comply with the password validity period. After the password of an administrator expires, the administrator must comply with all the password policy settings when they set passwords.
From the left navigation pane, select System Settings > System Security. The Security Policy page opens.
Configure the administrator password policy parameters, and then click OK.
Min. Length: Specify the minimum password length.
Complexity: Select a password complexity requirement. Options include Not Limited, Contains Letters and Digits, Contains Special Characters, Contains Letters, Digits, and Special Characters, and Contains Upper-Case and Lower-Case Letters, Digits, and Special Characters. Validity Period: Specify the password validity period.
