The TopN report feature provides topN statistics (such as CPU and memory usage information) about hosts and VMs in the resources managed by organizations. You can specify the statistics time range and set the query start time and end time to filter the statistics as needed, and then save the matching report data locally.
From the navigation pane, select Statistics Reports > TopN Statistics.
Select a resource of an organization, click the Host or VM tab, and then set the filter conditions. For more information, see Parameters.
To view the TopN host statistics, click the Host tab. You can perform the following operations on the page as needed:
To view TopN VM statistics, click the VM tab. You can perform the following operations on the page as needed:
Click Reset in the top corner to reset the statistics filter criteria.
Click the
icon to download a report as a picture.
Click Export in the top corner to export the reports.
To view detailed statistics about a statistics item, hover the mouse over the corresponding graph.
Cluster: Cluster where the hosts or VMs belong.
Host: Host where the VMs reside. Available hosts are those in the selected cluster.
Metrics: Select the statistics items. Options include CPU Usage, Memory Usage, Total Network Traffic, Network Read Traffic, Network Write Traffic, and Disk I/O Throughput. By default, the statistics about CPU usage, memory usage, disk usage, and total network traffic are collected.
CPU Usage: Each bar indicates the average CPU usage of a host or VM for the specified time period. The bars are ranged from left to right in the descending order of average CPU usage. The horizontal axis represents host or VM name and the vertical axis represents average CPU usage.
Memory Usage: Each bar indicates the average memory usage of a host or VM for the specified time period. The bars are ranged from left to right in the descending order of average memory usage. The horizontal axis represents host or VM name and the vertical axis represents average memory usage.
Total Network Traffic: Each bar indicates the total traffic statistics of a host or VM for the specified time period. The bars are ranged from left to right in the descending order of traffic statistics. The horizontal axis represents host or VM name and the vertical axis represents traffic statistics in GB.
Network Read Traffic: Each bar indicates the read traffic statistics of a host or VM for the specified time period. The bars are ranged from left to right in the descending order of read traffic statistics. The horizontal axis represents host or VM name and the vertical axis represents read traffic statistics in GB.
Network Write Traffic: Each bar indicates the write traffic statistics of a host or VM for the specified time period. The bars are ranged from left to right in the descending order of write traffic statistics. The horizontal axis represents host or VM name and the vertical axis represents write traffic statistics in GB.
Disk I/O Throughput Statistics: Each bar indicates the disk I/O throughput statistics of a host or VM for the specified time period. The bars are ranged from left to right in the descending order of disk I/O throughput statistics. The horizontal axis represents host or VM name and the vertical axis represents disk I/O throughput statistics in TB.
TopN: Select the number of hosts or VMs that have the highest resource usage to be queried. Options include 5 and 10. The default value is 5.
Time Range: Statistics time span. Options include Last Day, Past 3 Days, Past Week, and Custom. If you select Custom, you must also configure the following parameters:
Start Time: Specify the start time for statistics filter.
End Time: Specify the end time for statistics filter.
