VM backup is a stable disaster recovery solution. The backup file for a VM will not be lost when the VM image file is damaged or deleted.
When VM data loss occurs because of server or storage device failure, software bug or virus, or misoperations, you can use the backup file to restore a VM.
You can back up VMs in real time or perform scheduled backup as needed.
On the top navigation bar, click Resources.
From the left navigation pane, select Compute > Resources.
Click Backup Policy.
Add, edit, delete, enable, or disable backup polies, and remove VMs or disks from backup policies as needed. For more information, see "Manage backup policies."
