You can create an alarm rule for a link tracking instance to monitor the success ratio, health state, throughput, and response time of all applications in the instance. When an anomaly occurs, the system generates an alarm.

To create an alarm rule:
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Application Diagnostics from the App Service menu.
From the left navigation pane, select Application Alarm > Alarm Rules.
Click Create, configure the parameters as needed, and then click OK.

Name |
Specify a name for the alarm rule, a string of 1 to 64 characters. The name can contain Chinese characters, letters, digits, dots (.), hyphens (-), and underscores (_) and must start with a letter or Chinese character. |

Select a link tracking instance on which the alarm rule takes effect. |

Polling interval |
Specify the alarm statistics polling interval. Alarm statistics will occupy system resources. The shorter the polling interval, the more resources occupied. Set an appropriate polling interval as needed. For example, you can set a short polling interval for a critical metric. |

When the value for the specified metric exceeds the threshold, the system generates an alarm. |

Select whether to send notifications when an alarm is generated. To send notifications, enter the email addresses of the contacts. Separate multiple email addresses by comma (,). |
