Only system administrators can create elastic networks and subnets. The elastic networks and subnets are available to all organizations.
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Elastic IPs from the Network menu.
From the left navigation pane, select Advanced Settings > Elastic Networks.
Click Create.
Configure the name, segment ID, and description for the elastic network. The segment ID is used to isolate networks, and it must match the VLAN range of external network egress physnet1. If you do not configure the segment ID parameter, the system automatically assigns a segment ID to the elastic network.
Table-1 Configuring elastic network parameters
Parameter |
Description |
Shared Organization |
Allow specific organizations to use the elastic network. By default, all organizations can use the elastic network. If you select Designated Organization and select specific organizations, only the selected organizations can use the elastic network. |
Multiple External Egresses |
To configure multiple external network egresses for the elastic network, you must enable this feature. Make sure the multiple external egresses feature has been enabled in the controller plug-in. Configure elastic network egresses first in performing network planning before configuring external network egresses. Before directly connecting the subnets of the elastic network to VPCs or classic network routers, create egress operating_mode=EXCLUSIVE in performing network planning (see Configure the elastic network egress), and then disable this feature. |
External Network Egress |
Select external network egresses. To directly connect the subnets of the elastic network to VPCs or classic network routers, select egress operating_mode=EXCLUSIVE. |
Segment ID |
Specify a segment ID. The segment ID is used to isolate networks, and it must match the VLAN range of the elastic network egress. If you do not configure the segment ID parameter, the system automatically assigns a segment ID to the elastic network. |
To directly connect an elastic subnet to a VPC or classic network router, you must create the elastic subnet on an elastic network whose external network egress is operating_mode=EXCLUSIVE. The default egress for the elastic subnet is operating_mode=EXCLUSIVE. |
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Elastic IPs from the Network menu.
From the left navigation pane, select Advanced Settings > Elastic Networks.
Click an elastic network name.
Click the Subnet tab, and then click Create.
Configure subnet parameters as needed.

Description |
|
Name |
Enter a subnet name. This parameter is required. |
External Egresses |
Select an external egress configure for the elastic network. |
IP Version |
Select an IP version. |
Network Address |
Enter a network address. |
Gateway Address |
Enter a gateway address. By default, the gateway address is the lowest IP address on the specified network. |
Available Addresses |
Enter IP address ranges. |
