The Public image type is system defined and supports only the filter operation.
You can create only a Private image type.
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Images from the Compute menu.
From the left navigation pane, select Advanced Settings.
In the Image Types menu, click the Private tab.
Click Create.
In the dialog box that opens, configure image type parameters as described in Table-1.

Name |
Enter the name of the OS version. It will be displayed in the OS Version list on the page for creating an image. |
Hypervisor |
Select a hypervisor. Options include CAS, VMware, KVM, PowerVM, Xen, BareMetal, HP-UX VSP, and Hyper-V. |
OS Type |
Select an OS type. Options include BSD (available only when the hypervisor is CAS), Linux, and Windows. |
Version Info |
Enter the OS version. |
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Images from the Compute menu.
From the left navigation pane, select Advanced Settings.
In the Image Types menu, click the Private tab.
Click Edit for an image type.
In the dialog box that opens, edit image type parameters as needed.
Click OK.
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Images from the Compute menu.
From the left navigation pane, select Advanced Settings.
On the Public or Private tab in the Image Types menu, select a filter criterion, enter a keyword, and then click the search icon .
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Images from the Compute menu.
From the left navigation pane, select Advanced Settings.
In the Image Types menu, click the Private tab.
To delete a single image type, click Delete for the image type. To delete multiple image types, select the image types, and then click the Delete button.
