Configure notification settings

You can connect the system to third-party platforms to provide alarm and workflow approval notification services to users.

Once configured, the notification service settings cannot be deleted, but you can enable, disable, or edit the settings.

 

Configure email notification settings

  1. On the top navigation bar, click System.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System Settings > Basic Settings > Notification Settings.

  1. Click Configuration in the Email Service Connection area.

  1. Configure the email service connection parameters.

Parameter

Description

Email Server Address

Enter the IP address or domain name of the mail server.

Port Number

Enter the port number used by the mail service.

Sender's Email Address

Enter the email address of the sender.

Use SSL (SSL/TLS)

Select whether to enable SSL or TLS.

Sender Identity Verification

If you enable SSL or TLS, configure the sender's username and password used for identity verification.

 

  1. Click OK.

  1. Click On or Off in the Email Service Connection area to enable or disable email notification service.

Configure SMS notification settings

Before clicking OK to apply SMS notification settings, you can click the test button to first verify the availability of the SMS feature.

 

  1. On the top navigation bar, click System.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System Settings > Basic Settings > Notification Settings.

  1. Click Configuration in the SMS Service Connection area.

  1. Configure the SMS service connection parameters.

Parameter

Description

SMS Platform

Select an SMS platform. Options are EMAY SMS, Montnets SMS, and Third-Party Platform.

To use a third-party platform, the SMS platform needs to be encapsulated by the customization team, and registered with the platform SMS components by calling the platform interfaces,

User Serial Number

Enter the account obtained from the EMAY or Montnets SMS platform.

Username Password

Enter the password obtained from the EMAY or Montnets SMS platform.

SMS Server Address

Enter the address of the EMAY or Montnets SMS server.

SMS Server Port

Enter the port number of the EMAY or Montnets SMS server.

Default Signature

Enter the default signature.

Test Phone Number

Enter the phone number to receive test messages.

 

  1. Click OK.

  1. Click On or Off in the SMS Service Connection area to enable or disable SMS notification service.

Configure WeChat notification settings

The WeChat notification service depends on the Internet, so you must configure public IP and domain name settings before using the WeChat notification service.

If the system is in an internal network, you must perform the following tasks before connecting the system to WeChat:

·          Configure DNS and NAT settings.

·          Map port 80 of the public IP to port 11460 of the system service IP.

 

  1. On the top navigation bar, click System.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select System Settings > Basic Settings > Notification Settings.

  1. Click Configuration in the WeChat Service Connection area.

  1. Configure the WeChat service connection parameters.

Parameter

Description

Subscription Account App ID

Enter the WeChat official account AppID.

Subscription Account App Secret

Enter the WeChat official account AppSecret.

WeChat Server Address

Enter the server address provided by the WeChat official accounts platform (the default address is https://api.weixin.qq.com).

Message Encryption Key

Enter the message encryption key.

Network Mode

Select a network mode:

  • Private: The system cannot be accessed directly from the public network.

  • Public: The system can be accessed directly from the public network.

Token

Enter the token used for verification.

WeChat Notification Server Address

Enter the domain name corresponding to the public IP address of the system, for example, http://domain. If the public network mode is selected, the address is http://domain/wechat.

WeChat Menu

Configure a name for the menu on the WeChat official account homepage.

 

  1. Click OK.

  1. Click On or Off in the WeChat Service Connection area to enable or disable SMS notification service.
