You can store images in an image repository for unified image management.
Store
The system provides a private repository and a public repository. In addition, you can create image categories for flexible image storage and management.
The public repository stores images of the official edition and is managed by a system administrator. All members in the system can use the images in the public repository. The private repository stores images of the development or internal edition. All members in an organization can upload their images to the private repository. You can publish images in the private repository to the public repository.
Use
Deploy image—You can select target images from an image repository for image deployment.
Issue image—You can select an image of a version and issue the image to a node in a cluster. In the current software version, this feature is not available for clusters created by the cloud container engine service.
Download image—You can download images for use outside this system.
Manage
The system allows you to upload multiple versions of an image to the system for version control and management. If the uploaded image has the same name as an existing image, the system can automatically identify its information, such as category and history version, and can identify whether the new version is the same as the old version. In addition, you can edit or delete an image as needed.
The system supports both public and private image repositories to satisfy user requirements on resource sharing.
Easy version control and management.
