Configure the Fisec FMPLAT

Prerequisites

• Configure the encryption module according to the manufacturer's instructions and ensure the network connectivity between the encryption module and the system.

• Obtain the IP address, port information, username, and password for the FMPLAT to interoperate with CloudOS.

Configure the encryption module

1. On the top navigation bar, click System.

2. From the left navigation pane, select System Settings > Security Settings > Encryption Module Settings.

3. Configure the parameters as required.

4. Click Save Configuration.

5. Edit the configuration if the system prompts configuration saving failure.

Table-1 Configuring encryption module parameters

Parameter	Description
Encryption Module IP	Enter the IP address obtained from the manufacturer of the encryption module.
Encryption Module Port	Enter the port number obtained from the manufacturer of the encryption module.
Encryption Key	Enter the encryption key.
Encryption Module Manufacturer	Select FMPLAT as the manufacturer.
Key Password	Set the key password.
Username	Enter the obtained username.
Password	Enter the obtained password.

 

Edit the encryption module

1. On the top navigation bar, click System.

2. From the left navigation pane, select System Settings > Security Settings > Encryption Module Settings.

3. Click Edit to edit the parameters as needed.

4. Click Save.

Start encryption

1. On the top navigation bar, click System.

2. From the left navigation pane, select System Settings > Security Settings > Encryption Module Settings.

3. Click Start Encryption.

4. Click Test Connectivity to test the connectivity of the encryption module. If the system prompts failure, check your network configuration.
