Add real servers to a real
server group
A real server refers to a cloud host that provides
services. When you add a real server, you can specify its weight based on the
cloud host performance. You can add IP addresses for real servers.

You must create the elastic cloud host in advance. For more
information about the procedure, see "Create or apply for a
cloud host." In the current
software version, you can add the cloud hosts that belong to the same VPC as
the load balancer.
On the top navigation bar, click Cloud Services, and then select Load Balancing from the Network menu.
Click a load balancer name.
Click the Real Server Groups tab.
Click More Actions for a real server group, and then click Add Real Server.
Configure real server parameters as described in Table-1.
Table-1 Configuring real
server parameters
Parameter
Description
Subnet
Select a subnet attached to the load
balancer.
Back-End Port
Enter a service port number on real
servers.
Weight
Set the weight of real servers. A
listener distributes requests based on the weight of real servers. A server
with a higher weight receives more traffic than a server with a lower weight.
Enable Real Server
Select whether to enable the real server.
If you do not enable the real server, the listener does not distribute
traffic to the real server.
Host
Select cloud hosts. The system displays
IPv4 or IPv6 cloud hosts for IPv4 or IPv6 load balancers.
You can enter a cloud host IP address to
filter target cloud hosts.
Click before
the IP column header to sort the cloud hosts in ascending
or descending order.
IP Addresses
Specify unused IP addresses within the
subnet. Each IP address can be added only once to a real server group. In the
same real server group, you cannot add the same IP for two real servers that
use the same port number.
Click OK.
