A container cluster is a resource pool for running container applications. A container cluster contains controller nodes and worker nodes. Images or applications will be deployed on these nodes. You can create multiple container clusters, each of which must contain a minimum of three controller nodes. The system has a default cluster named Default for deploying the system. You can add nodes to this cluster or create new container clusters. The controller node in the default cluster must be a physical device. All the other nodes can be physical devices or VMs. Worker nodes are physical servers or VMs on which you can deploy container images or applications.
Perform the following tasks before deploying the nodes:
Install an ISO image on each node. For information about how to install an ISO, see H3C CloudOS 5.0 Deployment Guide.
Obtain the IP address of each node.
