A client group contains a group of clients running the same service. After you map a block device in the storage cluster to a client group, all the clients in the group can access the block device.
After system initialization, client group uistorHostGroup will be automatically created, and all hosts in the cluster belong to this group. This group uistorHostGroup cannot be deleted.
You can create a maximum of 10000 client groups for a cluster.
You can add a maximum of 64 clients to a client group, and add a client to a maximum of 64 client groups.
From the navigation pane, select ONEStor > Block Storage.
Select Volume Mappings > Client Groups.
Click Create.
Enter a client group name and group description.
Click OK.
From the navigation pane, select ONEStor > Block Storage.
Select Volume Mappings > Client Groups.
Click Edit in the Actions column for a client group.
Edit the client group name or description as needed.
Click OK.
From the navigation pane, select ONEStor > Block Storage.
Select Volume Mappings > Client Groups.
Select one or multiple client groups, and then click Delete.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
A client group supports a maximum of 64 clients. A client can be added to a maximum of 64 client groups. |
From the navigation pane, select ONEStor > Block Storage.
Select Volume Mappings > Client Groups.
Click the name of a client group.
Click Add.
Select one or multiple available clients.
Click OK.
From the navigation pane, select ONEStor > Block Storage.
Select Volume Mappings > Client Groups.
Click the name of a client group.
Select one or multiple clients, and then click Remove.
