As a best practice to maintain data balancing across a disk pool, make sure the difference between any two storage nodes in the number of disks is not larger than one.
From the navigation pane, select ONEStor > Resource Management.
Select Disk Pools.
Click Add Disks in the Actions column for a disk pool.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
Select a node pool from the list on the left.
This step is required only for the file storage-metadata disk pool. Other types of disk pools can belong to only one storage pool.
Add disks to the disk pool:
You must add cache disks if the disk pool is enabled with disk caching.
To add a disk to the disk pool, click that disk in the host data disk pane.
To add all available disks on the host to the disk pool, select Select All, and then click OK in the dialog box that opens.
To add disks with the same name on multiple hosts in the node pool to the disk pool, click Multihost Sync, select the target hosts, and then click OK.
When you add or remove a disk on the current host, the system automatically performs the same action on disks with the same name on the selected hosts.
To remove multihost sync from the hosts, click Remove Sync, and then click OK in the dialog box that opens.
(Optional.) To remove disks from the disk pool:
To remove a disk from the disk pool, click that disk.
To remove all disks from the disk pool, click Reset, and then click OK in the dialog box that opens.
(Optional.) To verify disk information by disk pool or host, click Review. To return to the disk adding page, click Return.
