Manage VM backup files
VM backup file management includes the following topics:
Import a VM backup file
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click the Backup Management tab.
Click Import.
Select a recovery mode, backup directory, and temp directory, and then click OK.
Delete a VM backup file

For CBT backup or common backup, the incremental and differential backup files of the most recent backup chain in a backup directory cannot be deleted. |
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click the Backup Management tab.
Click Import.
Click Delete in the Actions column for the backup file you want to delete.
Click OK.
View the backup history of a VM
Procedure
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click the Backup Management tab.
Parameters
Created At: Time when the VM backup file was created.
Backup Mode: Type of the VM backup.
Backup Directory: Directory that stores the VM backup file.
File Size: Size of the VM backup file.
Type: VM backup type.
Path: Storage path of disk backups. This parameter is available only when the backup type is disk backup.
