You can delete a VM in any state even if it is running.
A VM that has block devices cannot be restored by importing a VM backup file.
If you delete an image VM, you cannot release desktop images based on the image VM. Make sure you are fully aware of the impacts of this operation.
If you delete a course VM, data of the course will be lost, and the course will become abnormal or unavailable. Make sure you are fully aware of the impacts of this operation.
You cannot delete a VM in use by a course, desktop image, virtual application server, or software repository template. When you delete the VM, the system will prompt a failure message.
From the left navigation pane, perform one of the following selections:

Click the VMs tab.
To delete a VM, do the following:
Click More for the VM you want to delete.
Click Delete, and then select a deletion mode.
Click OK. If you select Delete Disk File, you must enter the password of the current administrator and select I am fully aware of the impacts of this operation in addition to clicking OK.
To delete VMs in bulk, do the following:
Select one or multiple VMs that you want to delete.
Click Bulk Operation.
Click Delete, and then select a deletion mode.
Click OK. If you select Delete Disk File, you must enter the password of the current administrator and select I am fully aware of the impacts of this operation in addition to clicking OK.
Move to Recycle Bin: VMs in the recycle bin still have their image and configuration files retained, but the HA, DRS, DPM, and affinity rules do not take effect on them any longer. Both online and offline VMs can be moved to the recycle bin. Once an online VM is moved to the recycle bin, the system will power it off.
Retain Disk File: Delete only VM configuration files and keep VM data. The image file location of the VM will not change. To restore the VM, you can create a VM, and mount the image file.
Low-Level Format and Delete Data Files: Perform low-level formatting on VM data, and then delete files. It will take a rather long time and consume a large amount of I/O resources if the storage volume size is large. As a best practice, perform this task when the service pressure is low. You cannot recover the deleted data storage files. Do not select this option unless the VM files and the VM is no longer needed. Please verify that a VM and its data storage files are no longer needed before you select this option.
