VM state management includes the following topics:
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click Start.
Click OK to start the VM.
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click Shut Down.
Click OK to shut down the VM.
Performing this task might cause data loss. As a best practice, shut down a VM instead of powering it off. |
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click Power Off.
Click OK to power off the VM.
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click Restart.
Click OK to restart the VM.
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click Suspend.
Click OK to suspend the VM.
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click Resume.
Click OK to resume the VM.
From the left navigation pane, select Data Center >Virtualization > Cluster name > Host name > VM name.
Click Hibernate.
