Manage backup policies

Enable or disable a backup policy

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Data Center > Virtualization.

  1. Click Backup Policies.

  1. Click Enable or Disable for a backup policy.

  1. Click OK.

Edit a backup policy

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Data Center > Virtualization.

  1. Click Backup Policies.

  1. Click Edit for a backup policy.

  1. Edit the parameters as described in "Parameters," and then click OK.

Delete a backup policy

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Data Center > Virtualization.

  1. Click Backup Policies.

  1. Click Delete for a backup policy.

  1. Click OK.

Delete a VM for a backup policy

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Data Center > Virtualization.

  1. Click Backup Policies.

  1. Select a backup policy, and then click the VMs Using the Backup Policy tab.

  1. Click Delete for a VM.

  1. Click OK.

Delete a disk for a backup policy

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Data Center > Virtualization.

  1. Click Backup Policies.

  1. Select a backup policy, and then click the Disks Using the Backup Policy tab.

  1. Click Delete for a disk.

  1. Click OK.

View backup logs

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Data Center > Virtualization.

  1. Click Backup Policies.

  1. Select a backup policy, and then click the Backup Logs tab.
