Perform this task for Workspace to interoperate with the AD-DC controller for desktop tenant network isolation and granular bandwidth rate limit.
Before you add a virtual network element, configure resource collaboration as described in "Manage collaborative managers" and configure location parameters for Space Console on the System > Advanced Settings > System Parameters > Advanced Parameters page.
From the left navigation pane, select System > Advanced Settings > Network Element VM.
Click Add Network Element.
Configure the following parameters and then click OK.
vRouter Name: Enter the vRouter name. You can specify the vRouter name as region ID+sequence number, for example, zhengzhouA_vSR01.
vRouter Management IP Address: To obtain this IP address, access the Automation > Data Center Networks > Resource Pools > Devices > Physical Devices page on the AD-DC controller.
vFirewall Name: Enter the vFirewall name. You can specify the vFirewall name as region ID+sequence number, for example, zhengzhouA_vFW01.
Managed VM Networks: Number of managed VM networks in real time.
Managed Desktop Pools: Number of managed desktop pools in real time.
External Network: Name of the external network on the AD-DC controller.
Max. VMs: Specify the maximum number of VMs attached to the vRouter. As a best practice, set a number not larger than 2000.
