Filter operation logs
Perform this task to filter operation logs.
Restrictions and guidelines
Operation logs with login name $SYSTEM record the automatic operations of the system. For example, after the system performs an automatic VM backup, the system automatically generates an operation log with login name $SYSTEM and operator name $SYSTEM.
Operation logs with login name admin@VMC-RS are logs generated when third-party systems call the REST interface of the system.
Procedure
On the top navigation bar, click System.
From the left navigation pane, select Operation Logging > Operation Logs.
Set filter criteria as described in "Parameters," and then click Filter.
To collapse the Filters area, click Collapse.
To display more filters, click More.
To refresh the list, click
in the upper right corner.
To display desired columns, click
in the upper right corner.
Parameters
Login Name: Enter the login name of the operator.
Operator Name: Enter the name of the operator.
Date: Configure or select a time span.
Completed At: Time when the operation was completed.
Login Address: Enter the IP address of the computer through which the operator logs in to CVM.
Description: Action description.
Result: Select an operation result. Options include All, Succeeded, Failed, and Partially Succeeded.
Target: Operation target.
Risk Level: Select an operation risk level. Options include All, High, Medium, and Low.
Reason: Detailed reason for the failure.
Action: Select an action. Options include the following: All, Delete, Restore, Format, Convert, Migrate, Initialize, Add, Edit, Clone, Back Up, Deploy, Enter Maintenance Mode, Exit Maintenance Mode, Copy, Import, Export, Distribute, Configure, Manage, Upgrade, Execute Command, Start, Shut Down, Restart, Suspend, Hibernate, Resume, Log In, Log Out, Connect, Disconnect, Scan, Refresh, Synchronize, Install, Uninstall.
Operation Type: Select an operation type. Options include the following: All Actions, Operator Action, System Configuration, Data Center Action, Host Pool Action, Host Action, Storage Action, Network Action, Cluster Action, VM Action, Template Action, Backup Action, Alarm Management Action, Recovery Action, DRX Action, Virtual Storage Action, SRM Action, Management Platform Action, Storage Adapter Action, Cloud Rainbow Action, Command Line Action, Workflow Action, Heterogeneous Migration Tool Action, Cloud Container Engine Action, Hot Patch Action.
