The system comes with a 90-day trial SEC2CPU license for lab tests or pre-sale demonstration. Before using UIS-Sec security services officially, purchase a formal SEC2CPU license and register the license as a best practice. You can use all UIS-Sec features as long as the trial license or registered formal license has not expired. After the trial license expires, you cannot request new resources but can still view and reclaim existing resources.
Each SEC2CPU license allows management of two physical CPUs.
The trial license does not require connection to the license server.
The trial license becomes invalid the moment you connect UIS-Sec to the license server and will not become valid again even if you disconnect UIS-Sec from the license server.
Created resources are still available after you disconnect UIS-Sec from the license server.
Before connecting the UIS-Sec portal of UIS Manager Standard Edition to the license server, upload the license activation file to the license server.
UIS-Sec security services can be licensed on the number of objects that can be managed or the features that can be used.
