Create vSwitch vs_gateway with DPDK disabled

Before deploying UIS-Sec gateway component VMs on a host, create vSwitch vs_gateway for the host, and bind the vSwitch to a minimum of one available Ethernet interface on the host. As a best practice to ensure data availability, bind the vSwitch to two available Ethernet interfaces on the host.

To create vSwitch vs_gateway with DPDK disabled:

1. On the top navigation bar, click Network.

2. From the left navigation pane, select Advanced Network Management.

3. Click Create Network Bridge vs_gateway.

4. Click Add.

5. Set the vSwitch name to vs_gateway, select Service as the network type, disable DPDK in the advanced settings, and then click Next.

6. Click Select Host to select the hosts that use the vSwitch, configure physical interfaces of the hosts, and then click Finish.
