Virtual data center (VDC) is a cloud service provided by UIS-Sec for visual orchestration of resources. With VDC, users can quickly gain insights into the logical network topology of the virtual environment and the running status of each instance. They can create resources through drag-and-drop. The VDC service provides a GUI-based, business-driven, easy-to-use data center management scheme to effectively manage virtual resources in a data center.
System administrators of UIS Manager Standard Edition and cloud administrators of UIS Cloud can create and manage NGFW, application control gateway (ACG), app delivery controller (ADC), DB audit, and WAF resources. In addition, they can manage the firewalls, routes, private networks, load balancers, and cloud hosts created by organizations in the private cloud. Organization administrators of UIS Cloud can create and manage firewalls, routers, private networks, load balancers, and cloud hosts in their own organization. Management of resources from the VDC is dependent on related cloud services. If a cloud service is unavailable, management of the related resource in the VDC is unavailable.
