Creating or editing a health monitor for a load balancer will interrupt the services provided by the load balancer. Make sure you are fully aware of the impact of this operation on your network.
On UIS Cloud, click Cloud Services on the top navigation bar.
On the UIS-Sec portal of UIS Manager Standard Edition, click Network Services on the top navigation bar.
From the left navigation pane, select Network & Security > Load Balancers.
Click the name of a load balancer.
Click the Health Monitors tab.
Click Create.
Configure the parameters as described in "Parameters."
Click Create.
Name: Enter a name for the health monitor.
Real Server Farm: Select a real server farm for the health monitor.
Type: Select a protocol for the health monitor.
HTTP Method: Select an HTTP method. This parameter is available when you select HTTP or HTTPS as the protocol.
URL: Specify the URL of the real server resource that the health monitor accesses. This parameter is available when you select HTTP or HTTPS as the protocol.
Expected Response Code: Specify the response code expected to receive after accessing the real server resource through the URL. It contains the state information about the HTTP server. The first digit of the status code specifies the type of status code, and the last two digits are not restricted. This parameter is available when you select HTTP or HTTPS as the protocol.
Expected Response Code Content: Specify the response content expected to receive after accessing the real server resource through the URL. This parameter is available when you select HTTP or HTTPS as the protocol.
Check Interval: Specify the interval between two health checks.
Timeout: Specify the health check timeout. If a health check is not finished within the timeout period, the health check fails.
