Add a scheduled extension policy

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Services, and then select DRX > DRX service name from the navigation pane.

  1. Click Scheduled Extension Policy.

  1. Click Add.

 

  1. Configure the policy parameters as needed, and then click OK.

  • A scheduled extension task takes effect the next day if you set the frequency to Daily, and set the start time to be earlier than the current system time of UIS Manager.

  • The default polling interval for scheduled extension is 10 minutes. DRX is not performed during the specified time period.

  • During the time periods not specified in a scheduled extension policy, VMs created by using the policy are reclaimed if they meet the resource reclaim policy.
