Perform this task to view online user information, log off, log out, and export online users.
From the navigation pane, select Users > Online Users.
Logging off VDI users will disconnect users from the desktop and return to the desktop list page. Logging off IDV or VOI users will shut down the endpoints, so save data before a log-off operation.
To log off online users:
From the navigation pane, select Users > Online Users.
Select target users, and then click Log Off.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
This feature is available only for VDI users. After a user is logged out, the user disconnects from the desktop and returns to the desktop list. At the same time, the operating system of the user desktop is logged out and returns to the system login page.
To log out users:
From the navigation pane, select Users > Online Users.
Select one or multiple users, click Logout.
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
Login Name: Login name of the user.
User Name: Name of the user.
User/Endpoint Group: User group to which the user or endpoint belongs.
Desktop Name: Name of the desktop.
VM IP: IP address of the VM for a user.
Endpoint Name: Name of the endpoint.
Endpoint IP: IP address of the endpoint.
Endpoint MAC: MAC address of the endpoint.
Endpoint OS: Operating system installed on the endpoint.
Endpoint Type: Type of the endpoint.
Desktop Type: Type of the desktop, including common desktop, shared desktop, and virtual application.
Client Version: Version of the client installed on the endpoint.
Access Through Gateway: Whether the user logs in to the desktop through a gateway. ARM hosts do not support this parameter.
Online Duration: Online duration of the desktop.
Host: Name of the host to which the desktop belongs.
Login Protocol: Protocol used for connecting the desktop.
Agent Version: Version of the agent on the desktop.
SpaceAgent Verison: Version of the SpaceAgent on the desktop.
Computer Name: Name of the endpoint.
Client MAC Address: MAC address of the endpoint.
From the navigation pane, select Users > Online Users.
Select a user, and then click Bind User to IP&MAC.
To access a desktop, a user must have been bound to the IP and MAC addresses of the endpoint that the user is using. Desktop access is denied if the user uses an incorrect IP address or MAC address. You can bind multiple users to an endpoint IP address and MAC address pair
In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
From the navigation pane, select Users > Online Users.
Click Export All. All online user information will be automatically exported to an Excel file in the download directory of the browser.
Perform this task on Space Console to provide remote assistance for users using shared desktops or virtual applications.
· This function is implemented based on Windows Remote Assistance and takes effect only on shared desktops or virtual applications. · Shared desktops running Windows Server 2016 do not support remote assistance. · Remote assistance on virtual applications running Windows Server 2019 might cause window shadows when the administrator moves the Windows Remote Assistance window. · Make sure that the administrator and the users use the same resolution and DPI settings when the remote assistance is performed on a shared desktop running Windows Server 2012 R2. Otherwise, the system might incorrectly display the Windows Remote Assistance window. · Do not minimize and then maximize the remote connection window on the user side when the remote assistance is performed on a shared desktop running Windows Server 2012 R2. Otherwise, the Windows Remote Assistance window on the administrator side might be black and cannot be restored. |
From the navigation pane, select Users > Online Users.
Configure the Connection Password in Invitation File parameter, and click OK.
Open the .msrcincident invitation file downloaded automatically by the browser, and the system displays the Windows Remote Assistance window.
The Windows Remote Assistance window is also displayed on the user's shared desktop or virtual application. The user does not need to perform any operation.
Enter the configured connection password in the Windows Remote Assistance window, and click OK to initiate a remote assistance request to the user.
The system displays a permission prompt on the user's shared desktop or virtual application, the user can click Yes to allow the connection from the administrator.
After the user allows the remote assistance connection, view the user's shared desktop or virtual application from the Windows Remote Assistance window and perform remote assistance.
The system displays Remote assistance is in progress on the Windows Remote Assistance window on the user's shared desktop or virtual application. The user can suspend remote assistance, stop remote assistance, and chat with the administrator from the Windows Remote Assistance window.
