Chat monitor policies audit chat tool-based user behaviors such as chatting, file transfer, and image delivery, and support blocking file sending and reception. In the current software version, supported chat tools include QQ, WeCom, DingTalk, FeiQ, WeChat, and Alibaba TradeManager.
From the navigation pane, select Policies > Behavior Policies > Subpolicies > Chat Monitor Policies.
Click Create.
Configure the following policy parameters, and then click OK:
Policy Name: Name of the chat monitor policy.
Monitor Settings:
Monitor Chat Content: Select the option to monitor chat text content.
Monitor Login: Select the option to monitor login events of chat tools.
Software Name: Name of the chat tool. In the current software version, supported chat tools include QQ, WeCom, DingTalk, FeiQ, WeChat, and Alibaba TradeManager.
Process Name: Name of running process of the chat tool.
Description: Description of the chat tool.
Advanced Settings: Configure advanced settings for chat content monitoring. Advanced settings include whether to allow sending and receiving attachments, maximum file size, monitoring images sent in chat, and monitoring files sent in chat.
Send Attachments: Select this option to control attachment sending. If you select Allow, attachments will be sent to the server for backup. Because of limited server storage, the backup file size cannot exceed the Max File Size (MB) setting.
Monitor Images Sent in Chat: Monitor sent and received images besides chat content.
Monitor Files Sent in Chat: Monitor files besides chat content.
From the navigation pane, select Policies > Behavior Policies > Subpolicies > Chat Monitor Policies.
Click Edit for the target policy.
Configure the policy. For more information, see "Create a chat monitor policy."
Click OK.
From the navigation pane, select Policies > Behavior Policies > Subpolicies > Chat Monitor Policies.
Click Delete for the target policy.
