Configure SMS notification parameters
Perform this task to enable the system to send SMS notifications for alarms to the users.
Restrictions and guidelines
To enable the system to send SMS notifications, you must configure SMS parameters on the System > Parameters > SMS Settings page.
Procedure
On the top navigation bar, click Monitor.
From the left navigation pane, select Alarm Management > Notifications.
Click the SMS tab.
Configure the parameters as described in "Parameters."
Click SMS.
Enable SMS notifications, and then configure the parameters as described in "Parameters."
Click OK.
To check the SMS notification settings, click SMS Test.
To save the SMS notification settings, click Save.
Parameters
Notify: Select the object to notify. Options include:
Specific Users—Send alarms to the specified phone numbers.
Specific User Groups—Send alarms to the phone numbers of all operators in the same operator group as the alarm object. Make sure each operator in the group is configured with a phone number.
Telephone Number: Enter the telephone number and click the
icon to add the telephone number to the list below. To delete a telephone number, select the telephone number and click Delete. This field is available only when the object to notify is specified users.
Severities: Select the levels of alarms to be monitored. Options include Critical, Major, Minor, and Info.
Alarm Thresholds: Select the alarm thresholds to be monitored. Options include All and Selected.
