Create a local storage volume

Procedure

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. From the left navigation pane of the Storage tab, select PVs > Local Volume.

  1. Click Create PV.

  1. Configure volume parameters as needed, and then click OK.

Create an iSCSI storage volume

Procedure

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. From the left navigation pane of the Storage tab, select PVs > iSCSI.

  1. Click Add iSCSI Storage Volume.

  1. Configure the parameters, and then click OK.

Create a Ceph storage volume

Procedure

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. From the left navigation pane of the Storage tab, select PVs > Ceph.

  1. Click Create.

  1. Configure the parameters, and then click OK.

View detailed information about a volume

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. To view data in the YAML file for a volume, click View YAML in the Actions column for that storage volume.

Manage volume labels

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. Click Labels in the Actions column for a volume.

  1. Perform the following label management actions:

Delete a volume

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. Click Delete in the Actions column for a volume.

  1. Click OK.

Manage PVCs

Persistent Volume Claim (PVC) management contains the following topics:

Procedure

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. Select PVCs.

  1. Click Add PVC.

  1. Configure PVC parameters as needed, and then click OK.

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. Select PVC.

  1. To view data in the YAML file for a PVC, click View YAML in the Actions column for that PVC.

Manage PVC labels

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. Select PVC.

  1. Click Labels in the Actions column for a PVC.

  1. Perform the following label management actions:

Delete a PVC label

  1. On the top navigation bar, click Container Engine.

  1. From the left navigation pane, select Container Clusters.

  1. Click the name of a cluster.

  1. Click the Storage tab.

  1. Select PVC.

  1. Click Delete in the Actions column for a PVC.

  1. In the dialog box that opens, click OK.
