Perform this task to add and delete remote devices. A remote device is abstracted from a set of links between a remote address pool and a local address pool.
You can create a maximum of 128 remote devices in the cluster.
You cannot delete a remote device that has been used for async replication pair creation.
Select Storage Disaster Recovery from the navigation pane.
Click the Link Management tab.
Click Add in the Remote Devices section.
In the dialog box that opens, configure the address pool as described in "Parameters."
Click OK.

Address Pool Name: Select an address pool in the local cluster.
Remote Address Pool ID: Specify a remote address pool ID.
Local IP: Select a replication network IP address in the local cluster. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are supported.
Remote IP: Enter a replication network IP address in the remote cluster. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are supported.

Device ID: Unique identifier of the remote device. A device ID represents a set of links between a local address pool and a remote address pool.
Health: Health state of the links between the local and remote address pools. Options include:
Optimal—All links are operating correctly.
Suboptimal—Some links are operating correctly.
Fault—None of the links are operating correctly.
Status: Running state of the remote device. Options include:
Online—The remote device is in up state.
Offline—The remote device is in down state.
